Meet Robin

Robin is a native of Southern California. Via the Air Force with her husband, she traveled all around the country with her family building vast experience in nearly every facet of the health and wellness industry.  Prior to that, she graduated from San Diego State University and while there, competed as a long distance athlete.  That set up the beginning of her long and diverse career more than forty years ago as long-distance track and field coach.

Over time, Robin branched out into group fitness instruction teaching just about every type of group class from aerobics, step aerobics, spin (cycling) and conditioning with a variety of apparatus to include stability balls, agility and weights.  Her classes successfully supported a wide variety of clients including Seniors, those with special needs, youth, and men and women alike. The needs served included weight management, strength and conditioning as well as nutrition.  All the while, she has continued to compete as a distance runner in local races.  In fact, during the early 80’s she won the women’s division of the Chisholm Trail Marathon qualifying her for the Boston Marathon in the process!

More recently, she completed the Marine Corps Marathon in the Fall of 2019-- with her oldest son!  As opportunities presented themselves, Robin took on Adjunct Instructor roles at diverse locations at Western Oklahoma State College and Wesley College in Delaware.  She applied her clinical expertise and personal training in a variety of settings from George Mason University in Washington DC, Chesapeake General Hospital in Virginia, Travis AFB Health and Wellness Center in California and Scott AFB in Illinois.  More recently, she has successfully supported literally hundreds of clients, especially seniors, with their individual journeys toward healthy living.  Her presentations on nutrition and stress management, and creating events that foster fitness and community are well known and well received.

Staying up to date with the latest research is very important to Robin.  Since earning her degree in Physical Education from San Diego State University she has kept pace with the times by earning certifications as a group fitness instructor and advanced personal trainer from nationally recognized certification agencies.  Always passionate about total wellness, Robin is a proud partner of the Juice Plus community-- a community whose mission is to ‘inspire healthy living around the world’.
